Our classic glazed ham recipe is an excellent crowd pleaser for the festive season.

Ingredients

  • 225ml Guinness Draught
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 small leg ham (3kg), on the bone, to fit in the Crockpot® Express Pressure Multicooker
  • Whole cloves, to stud

Method

  1. Remove the rind from the ham and stud with cloves.
  2. Place Guinness, Dijon, brown sugar and maple syrup into a jug and whisk, pour into the Crockpot® Express Pressure Multicooker.
  3. Add the star anise, cinnamon and ham. Secure the lid on the Crockpot® Express Pressure Multicooker and ensure the steam valve is in the OPEN position. Set the Crockpot® Express Pressure Multicooker to SLOW cook LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours. Press START.
  4. Brush with glaze every 25 minutes.
